Useful planning is clear about its math and limits.

StationPace is an independent running and generic hybrid-race planning tool. It does not claim an official relationship with any event organizer or replace a coach, clinician or medical professional.

Race pace calculations.

Finish-time pace divides total seconds by distance. Mile and kilometre conversions use 1 mile = 1.609344 kilometres. Checkpoint splits assume even elapsed pace unless a page explicitly models a negative split.

Treadmill conversion.

Minutes per mile equals 60 divided by mph; minutes per kilometre equals 60 divided by km/h. The mathematical conversion does not adjust for belt calibration, incline, heat or differences in running mechanics.

Hybrid split model.

The planner subtracts explicit work and transition budgets from finish time, then divides remaining running time by total running distance. It makes an assumption visible; it does not predict an exact result or prescribe an individual pace.

Training guidance.

Guides are general educational material. We include safety notes where intensity or physical symptoms are relevant and avoid presenting a generic session as appropriate for every athlete.

Corrections and feedback.

If a calculator or guide is unclear, contact Support with the inputs used. We will correct substantive issues and date meaningful changes.
